School Site Council Members, School Site Council will be meeting today in Room 92 at 3pm. Our annual Black Light Rally and Dance will happen on Tuesday, March 17. Wear neon or white on Tuesday to see the glow in the rally. Stick around after school for the best dance with a great D.J. We will rock the gym at this dance. Tickets are on sale in front of room 83 at break and lunch. The price is $5. Special $7 tickets also gets you a glow stick and finger lights. Come down to the end of the 80’s wing this Friday at lunch to play Spring Freeze. In Sports: Congratulations to our Girls Basketball team on their championship victory yesterday over Fort Miller. Well done Tigers! We are very proud of you. Good luck to our swim team in their meet today at Edison High School. Release time 2:45pm. Quarter 4 sports signups begin this week: Girls interested in playing softball have a meeting this today at lunch in the gym. If you have any questions see Coach Gonzales. Students interested in joining track will have sign ups today and Friday at Lunch in front of the cafeteria. Any student interested in playing Tennis for Computech please pick up an information packet in room 91 any time this week. Tryouts will begin on Monday. Boys interested in playing volleyball should come pick up an information packet and sign up for try outs today or Friday in front of Room 70. 7th and 8th grade students that are interested in playing football next year, there is a mandatory meeting with Coach Ramirez this Friday at lunch in the gym. Congratulations and well done to our amazing Science Olympiad Team who competed at Clovis North Saturday, placing 1st in 13 of 22 events, leading to a dominant performance and first place finish as a team. We are proud of your hard work Tigers! Saturday, Computech hosted our CVAL League Invitational Swim meet at Edison High School. Over 200 students from 7 districts participated in this first official league meet of the season. In their events, Yonadav Schultz scored second in an event. Benjamin Smothers, Jaydan Chau, Mason Zaremba, and Nolan Swaim scored first in an event. Saturday's meet was very competitive. The Ladies team scored a very respectable 187 points. And we're excited to announce that our boys team scored FIRST with a score of 263 points. Great job Tigers. Students, a reminder that the end of quarter 3 is this Friday, March 13th. Attention Arts students who are attending the Disney workshops on Feb 8, please come to room 91 any day this week before or after school, during break or lunch to sign up for your groups. 10 students per group.
