Good Morning Computech Tigers!
Today is Thursday, January 9th, and we are on Black schedule.
At this time please stand for the pledge of allegiance. Ready, begin: I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. Thank you, you may be seated.
Mr. Brown will be holding the yearly Computech lunchtime chess tournament. The winner will receive 2 movie tickets. Find Mr. Brown near the quad and Sign up today during lunch to participate in the chess tournament.
8th Graders, if you are interested in a field trip to tour the Engineering or Arts and Design Programs at Fresno State, permission slips are being distributed by your Tech elective and Visual and Performing Arts elective teachers. Additional copies will be made available in the front office. Sign-ups are based on a first come first served basis depending on when you turn in your permission slip to the Front Office as there are a limited number of seats. Please see your Counselor if you have any questions or concerns.
Students, please remember to review our school-wide expectations in the student handbook found online at computechstudents.com, including our standard of dress. Students are expected to be displaying their ID’s while on campus or at school events. Replacement ID’s can be purchased for $3 in the main office. Teachers, please scan the room to check for Computech Standard of Dress.
All athletes must turn in uniforms and equipment or you will get billed. JV and Varsity Basketball players turn in your uniforms after school to coach Thomas in Gym. JV and Varsity Wrestlers turn in your uniform gear to coach Gonzales. JV and Varsity Boys Soccer Players turn in your uniform to Coach Bolanos. JV and Varsity Girls Soccer Players turn in your uniforms to Coach Gonzales.
Your quote of the day from an unknown author, “Surround yourself with the dreamers and the doers, the believers and thinkers, but most of all, surround yourself with those who see greatness in you, even when you don’t see it yourself.”
Those are your announcements for the day. Have a great day and Go Tigers!
